ABOUT TUFF-TIEŽ Incorporated in 1987, TUFF-TIE INC. has been providing the law enforcement community with its patented nylon braid disposable restraints for over 22 years. Originally founded by a retired New York State Police Major that saw the need to provide officers with a practical and concealable restraint, we continue to be family owned and operated by former LEOs.

Owing to our small business classification, we are able to retain the flexibility of personalized service so often missing in large equipment suppliers today. We understand the basic needs of field personnel and to respond to urgent orders expeditiously.

In keeping with our spirit of community service, we have, since inception, utilized the local services of a New York State Sheltered Workshop as part of our final assembly process. TUFF-TIES have been used and approved internationally by US federal agencies, over 3,000 federal, state, county, local police agencies, and various security forces in all types of arrest and restraint situations.

We currently hold from the US General Services Administration an Outstanding Rating for federal sales, having proudly been awarded our GSA contract in 1995.

Since assuming daily operations in 2001, Corporate Director, Charles Nash has embraced the highest standards of ethical business practices as established by Robert Charland, Maj., NYSP (retired).
